This image is based off of the California Gold Rush. I think the hardest part was the hands... >.< So far I really like the idea of placing the images in gold nuggets. It really adds to the theming of the piece. I'm still debating on whether or not to add more waves in the water.
Also, an individual did suggest to me to tone down the intensity of the water. Thing is, I choose an intense hue on purpose. This time period was very fast paced and intense as people rushed to the West for gold and a new future.
As for the train, I really like the background design. The only problem I'm having is how to place the images within in the train. It seems like the images are too thrown together and they don't flow with the train itself.
